Project Origin – green bean supplier

We’ve been in partnership with Project Origin since 2016. Below is one of the projects that we have supported by purchasing their green beans. Project Origin share our values of community, equity and respect for all.

Water Well at Muja Masina, Ethiopia: In the Sodu village of Masina town, previously only spring water was available which was hard to collect and often not very clean. The new well services approximately 1000 people.

By purchasing coffee from us we can continue to support Project Origin in the work they do with coffee growing families in Africa and South America.

The Orangutan Project – protecting habitat and saving lives

The Orangutan Project was formed with a key mission; to ensure that endangered wild orangutan species would be protected against extinction, and would continue to live in secure populations for generations to come.

Over the next ten years The Orangutan Project wants to increase the number of wild orangutan under permanent protection to 8,000 to ensure all distinct populations of orangutan survive indefinitely. This requires TOP to secure 450,000 acres of prime lowland forest and protect it with 180 Wildlife Protection Rangers.

Southland Merchants are a small company with a big heart. In 2003 Nadia and Andre established their export company and have since built close relationships with small lot coffee producers supplying some of the most delicious coffee coming out of Brazil.

Mini Farm Project

We are working to help create a network of charity farms to RESOLVE food insecurity and grow food for those in need.

The food we grow at Loganlea State High School is donated to local charities, at no cost, to create meals. We also buy produce to serve in our menu at Extraction Artisan Coffee.

Your support helps us continue working with the mini farm project in the City of Logan.
